The preparations for the onslaught of winter have been completed here as else- ' where. This year, in contrast with our usual Boy Scout Motto - of "Being Prepared" several weeks in advance this year we're dragging our tail so to speak. The snowfence was completed completed in the first stages of a mini-blizzard and it's been stormy and cold ever since. The three storm windows that aren't aluminized, have finally been shunted into place following the finger finger nipping chore of washing and polishing the glass first. No use putting on windows if you see through them darkly as the Scriptures say. Here at Malconia we have a combination furnace, AT 10.9*' FINANCING OVER 25 Z24 CAVALIERS IN STOCK FOR ONE WEEK ONLY $16,265' OPTIONS • 3.1 L V6 3 speed automatic transmission • rear luggage carrier • sunroof • air conditioning • AM/FM stereo cassette v/ 5 , 50 other Cavaliers in stock with similar savings & 10.9 % financing. Each year we promise ourselves to get our furnace wood cut early to dry out and get our furnace room full of wood. Promises, promises! This year as usual we pack the last load in as the snow is falling This should last us, depending depending on who stuffs the monster, till Christmas if you know who feeds it, or till Eternity if the Leader of the Opposition is faced with the chore. It is much easier and cleaner to turn up the oil thermostat to 80 than self feed old smokey. Another little chore in most domiciles is to insulate certain doors on the windward windward side of the residence. Doors and frames seem to have a habit of shrinking. Doors that at certain times of the year have to be slammed with vigour to close in July, by November have gaps in you could drive a very, (thin Volkswagen Volkswagen through. Naturally, these.
