The bride, escorted by her father, rode to the church in a horse drawn carriage carriage and wore a formal white satin gown accented with pearls, lace and tiered ruffles with a cathedral length ruffled train. The gown was complemented with a pearl and sequined fingertip veil, and she carried carried a bouquet of peach and cream roses with a flowing teir of ivy and baby's breath. Ministry Funding Boy Scout Program A $151,410 provincial recreation recreation grant will assist in providing more than 20,000 Ontario Boy Scout leaders with training in child abuse prevention and leadership. The Community Recreation Recreation Development grant to Boy Scouts of Canada's Ontario Ontario Council was announced announced today by Ontar Minister of Tourism am. Recreation Ken Black. It was approved under the program's program's Leadership Development Development Component. Leaders will be trained in monitoring, identifying and taking action in child abuse cases through workshops and regular leader courses. All 118 local Scout councils in Ontario will also receive n Child Abuse Prevention Kit comprising a video, hand book and manual. "Committed and thoroughly thoroughly trained leaders will benefit some 100,000 Boy Scouts annually," Mr. Black said. "They will be vital in bringing about a better knowledge of child abuse problems and hopefully, a reduction in incidents of abuse." The grant will also fund a leadership program which applies management concepts concepts currently used in industry industry to the Boy Scout volunteer volunteer movement.
