President; Barbara Kapteyn welcomed the guests followed with the W.I. Grace. After a most delicious delicious and filling meal we adjourned to the upper hall for the business followed by a Christmas program. An executive meeting is to be held January 3rd, at 7:30 p.m. There is to be a pot luck supper December 31st at 6:30 p.m. at the hall followed by a varied program. program. Following an International International evening at Blaikie Row- sell's, members were made award of the financial needs of A.C.W.W. Dorothy Smith held a raffle raffle of a Theodore Bear with the proceeds going to A.C.W.W. The lucky winner was Doris Hills. A thank you goes out to Dorothy and all who help to support the project. project. Roll Call was an unwrapped unwrapped gift for Denise House. There was great support support to this roll calf. The East Group was in charge for the remainder of the evening. Marion Broome called on Sneena Akeson for the Motto: "Only what we give away enriches us from day to day." We can do many things for other people with gifts, buying etc. but what we give of ourselves to others others with time giving, helping with chores, a smile, a thank you, for a drive or a visit can be much more fulfilling fulfilling to all. A 3-act Christmas skit called the Runaway Reindeers Reindeers by the East group, was , very enjoyable to all. There was Santa, Cindy Ashton; ; Alma Langmaid, Mrs. Claus; Pat Best as Jumping Jack, Vi Ashton as Rudolph; Marion Broome The Toy Soldier; Soldier; Sheena Akeson Chief Elf, Evelyn Browse the Snow. Bear and Jessie Tink the helicopter pilot. The reindeer were Marion Sheena, Sheena, Pat and Evelyn in the final final act. Carols were sung in ' between acts.
