SPORT-THOUGHTS--The above story is an all too common occurrence in the hockey world. It always seems to be at its worst when a team is facing elimination elimination from the play-offs, and the players decide to get one final shot in at the opposing team late in the. game. With nothing to lose, it is virtually impossible to stop a hockey player from taking a cheap shot. It's a problem that has existed in hockey since it first began. began. Sport-talk wonders if there will ever be a solution to curb the violence in a hockey game in the closing moments.
