The water that we drink from our taps first comes from the fresh water lakes which are around our cities. These fresh water lakes which we take our water supply from, already have chemicals in it. These chemicals chemicals are called "pollutants". The fish and other wild life are dying from the contaminants in our lakes. We pour millions of gallons of waste into our lakes; even the rain has acid in it, and yet we put more chemicals into our water to make it safe to drink. So what are we drinking? Liquid chemicals with some water thrown in for good measure? These chemicals are mixed into our water at the water "purificiation" plant, where it is tested and is considered "Safe for Human Consumption" before it is pumped to our homes. What happened to pure? How can something be pure when you add chemicals to it? So STOP and take a minute to think about what you are drinking. Have you ever tried a taste test? Well that's what this is all about. Take a glass of water from your tap, and take a glass of water from us. Hold them up to the light and see which is dearer. Put them both in your fridge and get them nice and cold. Gruffies Grabs Hold of First Place Finish The ending to the Town League season was two stories stories in one. Gruffies secured first place with a 7-2 triumph over Newcastle Lumber.
