Stay cool now, see you next year. is ex- news reporting colleague Mabel Cawker and husband Sam in the sudden and untimely untimely passing of their youngest son. Sympathy too, to all the other family members members from the many friends and readers of the Nestleton News in the local weeklies. March Break is consistently consistently a hectic time of the year at any public place which attracts the younger generation. But, if you wish sheer chaos, just choose a bright warm sunny Springlike Springlike day following a misera- . ble rainy day to go to Metro Zoo. Several miles beyond the parking lot, we knew we were in for a "trying" time, for already the two lane traffic traffic was stop and go, with more stop than go. Inch by inch we crawled forward, finally finally we were about to enter when we were advised that the lot was full. However after after a short wait a spot was found and we were in business business - in the business of competing for space with half the children ' of Metro Toronto. All in all it was a pretty interesting fun-filled day with Granddaughter Dionne leading the parade. We ogled the animals and the animals checked us out. The monkeys and apes, the tigers, those monstrous elephants elephants and the five month old giraffe were probably the hi-lites of the day. Hand feeding the Canadian geese and the peacocks rated high with our favourite red-head. - Welcome home to Eileen, Howard and Todd Malcolm who returned on Sunday from a week in France.
