Host Families Needed Badly Each year, many Canadian Canadian families live a very special special experience. They host a foreign student aged 15 to 18 years for a school year. These students come from all over the world to discover our country and learn a second second language. Thanks to Interculture Canada's hosting program, 250 families will once again, have the chance to enjoy, for a period of eleven months, the company of a girl or boy from Australia, Sweden, Japan, Japan, Brazil or from elsewhere. elsewhere. The experience is worthwhile worthwhile for everyone: the family family shares its lifestyle with the student and in return, they learn to know and appreciate appreciate another culture. "It is like making a nice long trip without having to lease our home; it is an enriching and rewarding experience", explains one parent hosting a Spanish student. Students arrive in mid- August and stay with their host family until the month of June of the following year. They come from 25 different different countries and have been carefully selected to reflect reflect the interests and characteristics characteristics of the family with whom they will be placed. They attend the local school and after a few weeks of adaptation, adaptation, they already manage manage to speak English.
