The special evening of dining, dancing and awards was held this year in St. Joseph's Joseph's Church Hall on Liberty Liberty St, with 105 seated for dinner and 130 attending the dance portion. The evening started off with a delicious roast beef dinner served up buffet style, and was followed by an appreciative round of applause applause for the ladies in tne kitchen. Nicole diBonaven- tura of Oshawa and her able team provided the meal with much thanks to M&D Meats for their superb beef. The awards followed, with many Scout Leaders from the district receiving service and training recognition. recognition. . Abe and his service team congratulated those who had taken and passed their Part 2 Woodbadge: Linda Gillespie for Cubs, Deb Barr for Cubs, Wendy Harris for Beavers, Laverne Muirhead for Service Team, Maureen VanderWouden also for Service Service Team. The entertainment portion portion of the evening was handed over to Lee Ann Allison Allison and the Family Circle, the band for the evening. Everyone was in awe of the wonderful music presented presented by this group of young people.
