Office 623-6622 Telephone 987-1334 New Marque For Charity The Ontario March of Dimes, a non-profit organization organization that assists persons with physical disabilities, has just launched a new fundraising marque with the help of an award winning winning design team and advertising advertising agency. The new fundraising fundraising logo, designed by the Taylor Sprules Corporation, features a dime and a graphic graphic letter "M" that will appear on all fundraising material. "It's the first time we've had a new logo for fundraising fundraising since the tree symbol was introduced in 1964," says Randall Pearce, Director Director of Corporate and Public Affairs "As we're a cross disability disability organization, it's difficult difficult to describe what wo do in a logo. For instance, wo couldn't use a wheelchair since many of the people wo servo don't use them." The March of Dimes has been in Ontario since 1951 serving persons with physical physical disabilities. In over 300 communities across Ontario, volunteers canvass every January to raise money in support of programs and services for disabled adults, including assistive devices, employment employment services and independent independent living assistance. John Taylor, creator of the now logo says, "The now marque creates a powerful, appealing imago that both reflects the history of the March of Dimes, yet breathes now life into its visual visual identity." 436-8477 CRIME STOPPERS Ad, Wins International Award Bob Wing, owner of National Home Video, flew to Las Vegas earlier this month to receive an award at the Video Software Dealer Association's (VSDA) annual annual convention.
