The slim satin sleeves were appliqued with the same seed pearls as the front. A fingertip veil of silk illusion caught to a head piece of small flowers and seed pearls complimented the gown. The bride carried a bridal bouquet of pink and yellow roses accentuated with stephanotis and baby's breath. _ The matrdn of honor was Linda Thornton, sister of the bride, and the brides- maids^were Bonnie Zess, ^Ronda Kay, and Beverley Myers. They wore cocktail length gowns in emerald green satin and carried a spring bouquet of pink, yellow yellow and mauve tulips, orchids orchids and carnations with baby's breath. The best man was Terry Joseph, and the ushers were Jason Battle, brother of the S -oom, John McNaught and oug Bird, brother of the bride. The groom and his attendants attendants wore black tuxedos with paisley print cummerbunds cummerbunds and ties. The reception was held at the Lions Centre, Bowmanville, Bowmanville, with the mother of the bride receiving in a peach street length dress with matching jacket and hat and was assisted by the groom's mother in a black and white street length dress and matching hat. The master of ceremonies was Doug Bird, brother of the bride. Leaving for a honeymoon in Florida, the bride wore a tailored raspberry dress with a small fitted shawl. ' Prior to the wedding, the bride was honored at miscellaneous miscellaneous showers given by her sister.
