A large crowd of close to 100 entries in Fridays show alone! In speaking to one exhibitor, exhibitor, they were especially pleased at the condition of grounds and lighting. Barbecue and Presentation A very large crowd of members and adherents of Orono United Church gathered gathered there Wednesday evening evening August 28th. A delicious delicious barbecue of hamburgers hamburgers and hot dogs and three tables of mouth-watering salads greeted the crowd. Master chef Ken Dibartolo- meo cooked up a tasty load of goodies and then he was assisted by Bill and Marie Tamblyn on their barbecue to feed the hungry mob! Bob Bolton welcomed the crowd and gave the blessing. Many delicious desserts were devoured and then Reverend Fred and Marion were called to cut the very pretty decorated cake, which was donated by U.C.W. Excellent music supplied by Mellotones, assisted by Reverend Fred on trombone, was much enjoyed by all present. The Committee of Donna Scott, Thelma Gilbank, No- reen Nixon and Wilda Middleton Middleton then called Fred and Marion to the stage for the presentation. Thelma Gil- Dank read a nicely worded address and Wilda pinned pretty corsages on honored pair.
