Police Ask For Help In Arson Crime stoppers and the Durham Durham Regional Police are asking asking for the public's held in solving an ARSON which oc- curcd in Ajax on September 23rd. On Sunday morning, we had Reverend Barry Pogue a teacher at Durham College as our guest minister in the absence absence of Reverend Bonnie Kelly, Kelly, who is away on study leave. Reverend Pogue was well received received by our congregation. In our church bulletin there was a write up on some history of our Enniskillen United Church which is as follows. The church was a former Methodist Episcopal congregation, congregation, with a chapel constructed on the east side of Scugog Street in 1879. It joined the United Church in 1925. About this time, Burketon and Enfield United Churches were joined to Enniskillen to form a three point charge. The Enfield congregation congregation still holds two services services a year, while the Burketon Church has been closed. The Diamond Jubilee of the congregation congregation was held on August 26th and 27th in 1939, honouring honouring the 60th year of the build ing. lhc congregation each May, holds the Enniskillen Sunday school anniversary service service and dinner.
