FRANK HARRIS is Candidate for DURHAM REGION COUNCILLOR WARD 3, NEWCASTLE - CLARKE The growing unemployment in the Durham Region has caused a rise in Welfare recipients resulting in an 86.4% cost increase to the Durham Region welfare caseload in 1991. The additional cost of 9.8 million dollars for welfare in 1991 is funded from other Regional departments who in turn had to trim their monetary budgets. Unless industry can be encouraged to establish themselves in this Region the Welfare caseload will grow and other services may have to be curtailed. Therefore we must work together to bring industry Into our Region. TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE ELECT FRANK HARRIS WARD 3, NEWCASTLE - CLARKE DURHAM REGIONAL COUNCILLOR Authorized by the CF.O. for the Frank Harris Campaign.
