Just ask the senior girls' basketball team. The gym, they will will tell you -- that is, if any of them care to talk about it -- was a house of horrors. Fitting Fitting for Halloween. ing up. Their first basket eluded them until six minutes into the opening quarter. A jump shot from Becky Moynes made the score 7-3. Anderson went on a small run, but Bowmanville held tough, and actually trailed by only four points at 11-7 late in the quarter. By the midway point of the second quarter, they increased increased their lead to 27-9. At the half it was 39-10, and the rout was under way.
