Port Perry Church Receives $9,532 An Access Fund grant to improve accessibility for senior citizens and people with disabilities has been awarded to Port Perry's Church of the Ascension. A grant of $9,532 will be used to apply to the costs of a ramped sidewalk, curb cut, signage, lighting an accessible washroom and a hearing assistive device system for its community facilities. The Access Fund is a program of the Ministry of Citizenship's Office for Disability Issues and the Office for Seniors' Issues.
