The 7:30 p.m. concert will be free, but a collection to help fund the chaplaincy will be taken. The pianist is Christine Alison Wallner, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Allan Langley, of Bowmanville. Christine Wallner, who lives in Austria, is currently visiting her parents. She studied at the Royal School of Music in London, England, and has performed in Jamaica, England, and Austria. FLUTE CHOIR PLAYS - The Clarington Flute Choir will perform an evening program entitled "Flute Frivolities", on Tuesday, August 17, in the Arts Resource Centre of Oshawa. The concert begins at eight p.m. and admission admission is free. The music will consist of recreational ensemble pieces for piccolo, flutes, alto flute, and bass flute. There will also be selections by the Durham flute teachers' quartet.
