This year's parish fair featured a tea room and a UNICEF display in addition to the always-popular baked goods, houseplants, clothes and books. The Public is invited to share Christmas cheer, as Parkwood lights up the magnificent spruce trees in the front circle, Thursday November 25. The outdoor programme will include include music and carol singing with the O'Neill Collegiate Senior Brass, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Oshawa City Councillor Jack Wiley Wiley will be our Master of Ceremonies and Councillor Pauline Beal will lead the carols. There will be plenty of hot chocolate to go around, as well as song sheets for the whole family to sing along. The Oshawa Fire Department Department has kindly assisted in hanging the many strings of lights, which reach as high as 75 feet. For further family enjoyment, the Parkwood mansion - lavishly decorated decorated for the season - will also be open for touring, at regular admission rates. The participant funding is to serve the general purpose of assisting groups or individuals who otherwise lack the necessary resources to review the. documentation prepared by the IWA. Recipients would engage in facilitated negotiations to prepare a joint issues list and an agreed statement of fact and opinion arising from the work funded. Prior to the deadline for filing of participant funding applications, meetings meetings will be held between November 22nd and November 26th, 1993 to facilitate coordination among participants, and possible agreement about the distribution of the funds. The meetings will be held in the Board Room of the Office of Consolidated Hearings, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 1201, Toronto, Ontario M4P 1E4.
