At the provincial provincial finals held at the Royal Agricultural Agricultural Winter Fair, the Durham East team won the championship over stiff competition from a team from Algoma. This is the third year in a row that Durham East has captured the championship -- a real record. The 1993 team members are: Jeff Kemp, of Blackstock; Tom Bens- chop, of R.R. # 4 Bowmanville; Mi chael Metcalf of R.R. #2 Bowmanville Bowmanville and Tom Tamblyn, of Orono. The team was coached by Tom Barrie, of R.R. # 4 Bowmanville. All team members are actively involved in the Durham East 4-H program.
