12 The Independent, Canadian Statesman Weekender, Bowmanville, Friday, December 24,1993 Bowling Alley Transformed into Business School Part of Phase One of the Remaking Remaking of the Mall at the Oshawa Centre has been to transform an old bowling alley into a new business school facility. The Toronto School of Business, Oshawa Campus celebrated celebrated its official opening on December December 1st, when MPP Allan Pilkey bov/led the last bowling ball along the carpeted school hall. Special guests and visitors were taken on guided tours of the school by staff, and students in traditional TSB red gowns and mortar boards. Barbara Wood, principal, opened the ceremony, and Colin Sinclair, gener al manager of the Oshawa Centre gave a welcome. Vice-president of Toronto School of Business parent organization, Jerry Stessel, brought greetings from head office. Deborah Nowlan introduced Allan Pilkey who spoke of the growth and success of the school, and the importance of the hands-on job training it provides in the community. Mr. Pilkey then bowled a bright, orange ball downing all ten pins in a perfect strike.
