By Julian One Day It Snowed So Much One night on December 23 I was at Kirby the Oshawa Ski Club. All of a sudden a bit of snow started to fall. Faster and faster it came down. It was a blizzard. The snow got so deep that the chairlift was buried under under snow. Everyone was trying to help the people on the chairlift when some people heard a little jingle of a bell. It was faint so bearly anyone heard it. They were too busy trying to get to the chalets and shops. One person was up at the groomers garage. garage. He was at the top of the hills and we were at the bottom. He used the groomer to plow a trail for us to get out. We got to the area van and followed him to our street. They had backhoes trying to dig a trail but our house was buried. I had to get the spare shovels from the back of the van. It was a good place for a snow base. We dug until 11:00 p.m. We went the the van and got some sleep. In the morning at 7:00 we resumed with the digging. It took until 11:00 a.m. We got in the house. It was Christmas morning. I got a fish for my aquarium and we had a great time. I made the best snow base and the biggest. It was twenty feet and five inches. I was in the World Book of Records. I had a video of the base. The next year I was on the awesome Kirby Ski Team. I saw.my friend Ashley on the hills. The manager of the ski base invited me to be on Ski Base. That's my favourite ski show.
