Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stainton enjoyed a vacation in Branson, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Jim McLaughlin were recent lunch guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Avery. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Hills were Monday dinner guests of Mrs. Wilfrid Wilfrid Bowman and Miss Myrtle Tam- blyn. On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Dick Howe and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thomas Dickson, Bewdley had supper with Mr. and Mrs. Brad Huggins and family, family, Peterborough. I Dougie Deboo spent Thursday morning with Betty, Annie and Edgar Wright. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Stephenson have returned home from visiting relatives relatives out West. A baby shower was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Nimigon on Sunday in honour of Lynda Stand- ish of Whitby and 23 relatives and family were present. On Friday April 29th the Oshawa Senior Citizens Club Choir entertained entertained a full church, with song, solos and humor. The choir of thirty some members is directed by Peggy Drynan. The Pianist Pianist Vera Kaan, Choir Chairman, Marguerite Wright. These people certainly certainly love music, have talent, and such a happy way of expressing their joy in sharing. The selections chosen were of such good variety they were pleasing to everyone. The popular M.C. Ross Metcalf kept everyone entertained in his usual jovial manner. He also sang a solo for us singing as he has always lived "I Love Life" just awesome. An added added treat was. A Piano solo by a very special lady over "90" Miss Elva Orchard Orchard - played "The Robins Return". The piano was still humming a little when I went to church Sunday morning. Edgar Wright and U.C.W. President President Joyce Virtue thanked the choir and presented them with a suitable token of our appreciation. The guests were invited to the lower hall for refreshments refreshments and an invitation to come sec us again. This weeks visitors at Mrs. L.
