Gordon Gresko, founder of the company, says the play is "probably one of die best-written shows to come out of the 1980's. The play follows a relationship between a man and a woman over a 50-year period, stretching from 1957-1987. The method used to trace this relationship is a series of letters written between the two. In fact, not until the end of the show do the two actors address each other directly. directly. Both actors are looking forward to performing the play at Stables at Greystone. The ambiance of the country restaurant on Shirley Rd. should enhance a play like this one. "Small spaces are very rewarding as a performer," says Gordon Gresko. He notes that touring shows date back to the Middle Ages when a company of actors would set up the show in a courtyard at an inn or stable. Pearl Productions is giving that tradition a modem twist But, in this case, the backdrop really is a 20th century stable. Which goes to prove that although many plays are written, written, some fundamental things about the theatre remain unchanged.
