The Yard Sale at the High School and the Rummage Sale at the United Church were both very successful events. Many, many items found new homes. The Nursery School Dance on Saturday evening had a packed Recreation Recreation Centre when everyone enjoyed enjoyed the dancing and the humour of the unique group, the Yuk, Yuks. Connie Swain is a patient in Oshawa Hospital - your many friends wish you improved health. On Thursday evening the Black- stock Fair Board will hold its regular meeting. Roy and Linda Bradbum, Matthew Matthew and Amanda entertained both sets of parents for Sunday dinner. Joe and Annie Bradbum of Port Perry and Harold and Eileen Mclaughlin were guests. At the Blackstock United Church, Christian Family Sunday was celebrated. celebrated. During the service, the Junior Choir sang "In the Bulb there is a Rower" and Senior Choir "Happy the Home When God is There". The Sacrament of Baptism was conducted by Reverend D. Shearman when Ash- leigh Lynn Taylor daughter of Janet Bailey was received to the family of God. The tradition of Mother's Day was explored in Reverend D. Shearman's Shearman's sermon. They were on several tours, met the mayor and performed a concert in a huge mall.
