It may even have been a hotel at one time. The stores located there have included the sale of fur hats and gent's furnishings furnishings (when it was owned and operated by a Mr. 'Marcus' Mayer), a shoe repair business (under a Mr. Durggan, who was also a band master at that time) and a confectionery store.
