Dinner was served by the Newcastle UCW, the meeting was chaired by the President, Lion Tony Clements. Once again, we sincerely thank Phyllis and Terry Price of Price's Country Market for allowing us the use of their building during this endeavour.. We appreciate and thank all who donated and all who attended our May 28th Sale. Without your support it would not have been the success it was. We realized a profit of over $2000.00 to put towards Seniors' programs during the next year. Plans are being made to hold a Bingo again this year at the Durham Central Fair in Orono, September 8- 11. The Chicken Barbecue will be held on a new date this year, June 26, at the Newcastle Community Hall, $10 for adults, $5. for children 10 and under and pre-schoolers are free.
