Student Employment Officer Daniel Munns, of the Bowmanville Canada Employment Centre for Students, Students, outlined the plans for Hire-A- Student Day in a letter to Clarington Council. A flag-raising is planned, as is a clean-up of the Temperance and King Streets area. The "National Hire-A-Student Clean-up Crew" will include student employment centre staff and volunteers volunteers to wash windows and pick up garbage for employers in that area.
