Parkwood will celebrate McLaughlin Day with a FREE family picnic on the magnificent grounds from 11 am. to 3:00 p.m. Moms and Dads are invited to pack up the kids, the picnic baskets, the cameras and blankets, or treat the kids to a Park- wood Hot Dog!! The event will feature feature face painting, balloons, antique cars and "oldies" music. Special attractions include an exhibition exhibition by painter Peter Robson, a line dancing demonstration by the Liza Minnelli in Stratford International singing star and Academy Award-winning actress Liza Minnelli will give a special benefit benefit concert for the Stratford Festival on Monday, September 12 at 8:00 p.m. The winner of Tony and Golden Globe awards, as well as a best- actress Oscar for her portrayal of Sally Sally Bowles in the movie Cabaret, Miss Minnelli will perform on the Festival Theatre stage, accompanied by her dynamic trio. A small number of gala tickets are available, priced at $250 each. These include a pre-show dinner at the renowned renowned Church Restaurant in Stratford Stratford and. a post-performance recep tion with Miss Minnelli in the Festival Theatre Marquee. Tickets for the performance and the reception only are also available for $150; while performance-only tickets are priced at $75 and $50.
