Though a Ceramic Engineering graduate graduate from the University of Toronto, Bouckley's keen interest in historical photographs, an interest he developed after acquiring his father's collection some years ago, has led to a collection collection which now numbers in excess of 2,700 photographs. Family Corn Festival on August 28th Ontario's bountiful sweet com harvest will be celebrated at the Ontario Ontario Agricultural Museum during the 13 th annual Family Com Festival, Sunday, August 28,1994. To reach the Ontario Agricultural Museum take Highway 401, exit Guelph Line or Highway 25 north and follow the signs. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until until September 25,1994. Arthritis Aquatic Program Starts On Sept. 21st Registration is underway for the Arthritis Aquatic Programme at The Whitby Civic Recreation Complex, 555 Rossland Road East, Whitby. Classes will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting September 21, 1994. The fee is $35 for the classes one day per week for ten weeks. Exercise is crucial but often difficult difficult for people with arthritis. The Arthritis Arthritis Society's Aquatic Programme provides the benefits of warm water exercise as well as the chance to talk to other people with arthritis. The warmth, bouyancy and resistance of the water can help decrease pain and/ or stiffness as well as help improve or maintain joint flexibility and muscle strength. Participants enjoy a 30 minute aquatic exercise class each week for a period of ten weeks. The ability to swim is not required. Classes arc lead by aquatic instructors who have been trained by The Arthritis Society to guide adults through the stntctured exercise exercise programme. The Arthritis Society offers the Arthritis Arthritis Aquatic Programme at pools in Bowmanville, Oshawa, Whitby and Ajax.
