Bam Timbers to be Re-Assembled in New Home Lumber from this bam located on Baseline Rd., west of Bowmanville, will be recycled as a home. On Tuesday, October 11, the timbers from the building, which is about 150 years old, were disassembled by Ganaraska Log Homes Ltd., of Orono. They Were taken to the company's workshop north of Grafton for cleaning and other work. This spring, plans call for the wood to be used in a new timber frame house to be built at a site near Bethany. Some of the barn's boards will also be reclaimed for interior use in the home. The builder has plotted and measured each piece of timber so that it can be re-assembled.
