On Saturday, November 12, Skylight Skylight Donut novices clinched their first 'A' championship of the season held in Peterborough. Going into their first game, the Toros Toros were confronted with a tough St. John's team. Both skaters finished eighth in flight in the Juvenile Ladies' division. Crystal also placed ninth at the Octobcr- fest '94 competition in Woodbridgc on October 15. Checkers Variety peewees met one of their biggest challenges facing off against Dykstra's Deli on Saturday, November 15. Checkers Adam Sarginson scored his team's second goal of the first, assisted by Steve Butterworth. In the second period, Checkers' Mark Beitlc scored, with assists by Dcrik Welch and Robbie Milford to give their team a three-goal lead. Dykstra's showed more life in the third period, boosted by an excellent goaltending display by Jason Kewell who made some great saves. .
