Of industrious people who have reclaimed much of their land from the sea. Windmills and wooden shoos and of course tulips, fields of tulips. But still a country of people enthusiastic enthusiastic to see the Canadians once again, to show their gratitude the way they feel it should be shown. There are a number of events taking place at various locations throughout the country to commemorate commemorate the actual day of liberation. National Liberation Day is May 5, and Prince Bernard will sign again, the official declaration of peace in Wageningen. The city of Apeldoorn has teamed up with an organization in Toronto to make it possible for as many Canadian veterans as possible to make the trip, so if you can afford a little, contact the writer and I will pass along the appropriate information.
