For more in- formation phone 623-3303, Obituary ROSEVEAR Audrey 1913-1998 Alice Audrey Larmer was born on March 27, 1913, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where her parents had come to be part of the opening of the west. She was third in a family of six. The building boom in the west collapsed and the family moved back to the Millbrook area. Audrey was raised on a dairy farm on Cone. 7, Cavan Township. Her early education education was received at Whitfield Whitfield School and Millbrook Continuation School. Senior high school was taken in Port Hope. She attended Peterborough Peterborough Normal School in 1931-32, and started her teaching career in a small rural school near Spanish, Ontario. She also taught near Warsaw and Kendal. In 1935, Audrey married Gussie (J.A.) Rosevear and they lived on a farm near Tyrone. Here they raised four girls and two boys. Au drey returned to teaching In 1953, and worked in several schools in the area, for individual individual school boards as well as The Darlington Board and the Northumberland-New- castle Board. The latter part of her teaching career was spent in remedial work. She retired in 1976. The Rosevears moved to Hampton Hampton in 1964, and thirty years later, Audrey, widowed In 1980, returned to live on the home farm. Audrey Rosevear died on August August 15, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, following following a massive heart attack. attack. She was buried In Bethesda Cemetery near Tyrone. Audrey loved to travel, and had been to Eastern and Western Canada several times with Gussie, and to Europe, England, Florida, Alaska, the Yukon and Northwest Territories, as well as enjoying several short cruises. She was a family historian, supplying information to both sides ol Ihe family, and keeping in touch with people on Hires continents. She loved to visit friends and relatives. She did beautiful handwork, quilling, crocheting, knitting, and handmade quilts and milts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as numerous bazaars and penny sales. She loved old books and was on avid reader. Audrey will bo missed by her six children, Larry (Helen), Arlene (Murray Yoo, Jacqueline (John Vanoyk), Lorraine Delaney, Kenneth (Evelyn), and Eslhor (Keith Dovolln). She was on Inspiration Inspiration to her seventeen urandchlldron, and n proud flraat-nrandmolhor of twenty- one, she was prodocoasod by her slslor Florence and her brothers, Keith, Marshall and Gordon. Her brother Clifford Larmer and many nieces and nephews will re- niombor her, ns well ns cousins cousins and friends whom she visited regularly.
