MacPhee, Editor of Schizophrenia Digest. Bill MacPhee was diagnosed diagnosed with schizophrenia in 1987. After undergoing successful rehabilitation, he recognized a need for readily available information information about the disease and launched "Schizophrenia Digest", a quarterly magazine magazine in March 1994. Bill has become a great ambassador for people with schizophrenia. In 1996 he received the Community Action Award from the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation in recognition of his outstanding advoca cy on behalf of those with schizophrenia. In his presentation, Living With Schizophrenia, Bill is able to explain with clarity and detail what schizophrenia is and isn't, the difference between positive and negative negative symptoms and what it's like to be paranoid, hallucinatory, depressed and suicidal.
