Adventists Help Victims Of Hurricane The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADR A) is accepting donations ,on behalf of the victims of Hurricane Mitch. "In the fifteen years that I have worked lor ADRA, I have never seen devastation like this," exclaims ADRA Nicaragua Director, Ed Baumgartner. "Words simply cannot express the tragedy and disaster that Nicaragua is experiencing experiencing due to Hurricane Mitch." Meets The November meeting of the Bowmanvillc Women's Institute was held on November 5th in Trinity Church Hall. President Bernice Puk opened the meeting with a poem and then O Canada and the Institute Ode were sung. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Roll Call "Name your favourite kind of music" was well answered. It was moved by Iva Twist, seconded seconded by Elva McKniglU that we bring food for the Salvation Army at our December meeting. Iva Twist presented Louise Bell with her 25 year pin (life membership). She thanked the W.l. for this kind gesture. Iva took charge of the programme by reading a poem on Armistice. Iva gave the motto "Music hath charm to soothe the savage breast". A video was then shown, which was sent to us by the F.W.I.O. on literacy.
