A large crowd in attendance attendance to sec and hear the Orono Public School singing up a storm! Also the Brownies and Sparks sang. The downtown business business group supplied free hot dogs and hot chocolate, chocolate, and Santa gave out candy canes. Yvonne Maitland (Apple Blossom Shop) handed out Town hall buttons. Altogether it was a great success and the shoppers were treated to hot cider in the stores. St. Saviour's Anglican Church Nicarauguan Relief Fund. Christmas Tree 'Eighty'- ril; ' Once again, the Orono Sunday School is decorating decorating an outside Christmas Tree and need help to change the bulbs from clear to coloured. The bulbs, can be in memory of, or dedicated to, family and friends. Bulbs cost $2 each with $1 to M & S and $1 to either Orono or Kirby Sunday School. Our Christmas dinner will be Thursday, December 17, 6 p.m. It's a catered turkey dinner with all the fixings! Food Drive Van Belle's Flower Shoppe in Courtice invites people to drop off food donations donations in time for Christmas. The store would like to build a mountain of food to help feed the hungry in the community. Community Centre Board to Hold Meeting 4T Club Meeting Held November 19, in Srs. Complex Hall, Station Str., with an excellent crowd of 46 for dinner and 2 dinners sent out to shutins.
