As usual, the dinner was plentiful and delicious and the Girl Guides were thanked lor their service and dish-washing. Entertainment of the evening was local - ballet, jazz and tap performers of the Newcastle Family Connection. Mr. Ken Love, District Director of Dist. 17 brought greetings and asked support of a petition to save forests. Mrs. Kathleen Petrie, 2nd Vice Pres., of OHA brought greetings from the OHA, described the millennium deep pink tulip project, aiming aiming for sales of 60,000 of these bulbs a fund-raiser for the OHA.
