After a record of 1-1-1 in the round robin event, the Toros advanced to the semi-final against the West London Optimists. West London defeated the Toros 5-2 to advance to the final. Tyler Young and Amber Ellis scored the Toros' goals while Stephen Thomas, Graeme Kalijundic, Geoff Powell and Matt Me raw drew assists. In the round robin event, the Movers defeated the host Dundas Blues 3-2. Lucas Beech, Amber Ellis and Brandon Doble dented the twine for Clarington. Ryan Zavitz, Stephen Thomas, Pat Dwyer and Ryan Cross had the helpers. The Toros tied the Chatham Cobras 2-2. Amber Ellis scored twice for the Movers with Geoff Powell and Matt Mcraw receiving the assists. The Markham Waxers defeated the Preston Toros by a 3-1 count. Stephen Thomas and Justin Lidston set up Tyler Young for the Toros' only goal. On November 19, the Preston Toros were back to Lakeshorc League O.M.H.A. action as they travelled to Pickering to face-off against the Panthers. The game ended in a 4-4 tie. Halminen Homes Keep Unbeaten Streak Alive The Halminen Homes Minor Novice Toros chalked up two more league wins to bring their regular season record to an impressive 15-0-1 mark. Halminen's first game saw them take on an improved Ajax squad and the Toros came out victorious victorious winning by. a score of 4-1. The baby bulls continued continued to play unselfish hockey, hockey, passing the puck around like a hot potato.
