Here, Carl Fallis, one of the volunteers on duly at the van, loads up some of the first donations. Before the end of the day, enough food to fill the vehicle had poured in. Do you ever ponder what Christmas is about? Or do you just ignore the facts, and get ready to shout? Give Me, Give Mc, I want this, I want that. Do you really know what Christmas is about? You've probably heard of Jesus, horn on Christmas day. But did you ever hear the price that he did pay? I'll tell you what he did, just listen to what I say. Jesus died for us, on that first Good Friday. Jesus is the Saviour, He rose on Easter day. We celebrate Christmas, because it's his birthday. Don't forget Saint Nick, who gave to all the poor. He blessed them with some money, and a whole lot more. Saint Nick is believed to be the one. Who Santa Claus has originated from. But lie knew Jesus was the Son. The Son of God, the Holy One. Saint Nick just wanted to serve the Lord He decided that giving is what he could afford. So don't forget Jesus on Christmas Day. You wouldn't want your friends to forget your birthday. birthday. No Christmas isn't Santa, Hying through the sky. It's about baby Jesus, Son of the Lord Most High. James Snyder The Birth of the Christmas Baby Long, long ago in a 'Twos tfie Time Before Christmas... Long in search for a place to sleep, "It's too far", they would weep. They found a place where they could rest. But the inn was full and nowhere they could suggest. They sighted a stable in the distance, not far! Their father in heaven placed above it the Christmas star. Some kings from the East sighted a bright skylight. They saddled their camels and hopped aboard. The camels hurried in the dessert sand, many nights. The men arrived with greetings of love and gilts for baby Jesus, our Lord. A distance away in a field by a creek, Some shepherds watched their Hock and waited for morn. An angel appeared and waited to speak, "Unto you a child is born." And that is how my saviour saviour was born, one Christmas morning long ago. Brook Vivian My Christmas Thoughts In a town long long ago a baby was born in a manger on a cold winter's morn, He was born by the virgin Mary and the child she did carry. Lot's of people came from every town from the east to the west and all around I know he will come again and bring peace to all men. There will never be a way to banish Christ from Christmas Day Even though kids think about Santa in December Jesus Christ is the one we should really remember. This is how my Christ was born on that cold cold winter morn. Peler Heerschap The Real Meaning of Christmas What's the meaning of Christmas? What really is it? Is it about the presents under the tree? and saying everybody look at me? The real meaning is a little little boy by the name of Jesus. Born in a little town called Bethlehem. He came to cleanse us of our sin so we can go to heaven. Wise men came from far and wide. to see this baby, the son of God. They took him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. and shepherds came knocking at the door. The shepherds came from out in the field. When they saw the angels sing. They went and found Jesus in a manger. So they went out and told every stranger. Now you know that Christmas is about Jesus. Who was born on that first Christmas Day. So don't think about what you get. but about how Jesus, the shepherds and the wisemen met. Jonathan Vis MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS!
