The three couples each get involved in some very funny but also touching encounters. Douglas Bothwell portrays portrays Arnie Nathan, a Los Angeles comedy writer waiting for a big break. However, his wife Liz is the one with the big break, but Arnie doesn't know and she doesn't know how to tell him. Bothwell actually got his acting career started 10 years ago with the Bowmanvillc Drama Workshop. "It took a lot of guts," he recalls, to try out for part in "Answers," three one-act plays directed directed by the BDW's Sheila Majid.
