We knew we'd be happy with this cup of tea No matter the problem, nor size of the fear Grandpa was there to wipe off our tear. He listened and taught us great stories of life To keep your head up and don't give in to strife, A teacher he was, a mentor he became. After he was a Super, the schools weren't the same He cheered at onr baseball and told us when to run, A great coach he would have made so encouraging and fun, Grandpa was a role model in Iris achievements and glories, "These are lines of my life, experience and tell stories", A good game of golf or a walk in the park Kept Grandpa busy from daylight till dark.
