The Fabulous 50s Festival and Sidewalk Sale returns returns to downtown Bowmanville this week on Thursday, June 21, Friday, June 22 and Saturday, Saturday, June 23. Shoppers can look for bargains beginning beginning Thursday morning and then on Friday evening, an Elvis look-alike will perform at 6,7 and 8 p.m. Saturday is fun in the sun all day long with a 50s car show, a bubble gum blowing blowing contest at noon, hula hoop contest at 2 p.m. in front of the As You Were Bakery and Tea Room, a beach volleyball tournament, children's children's duck pond, children's maze, museum display and rides for the children.
