Patricia Enright, former chief librarian librarian of Port Hope Public Library is about to hit the shelves in Claringlon. Since the end of December, the Claringlon library has been without a director. Chairman Brenda Carrigan said the library was looking for the right person for the job and decided Ms. Enright Enright is it. She will begin her new job on Feb. 11. "Our position was we would look for someone we felt would do a good job for the people of Claringlon and the library service in this area," said Mrs. Carrigan. "If we hadn't found someone then we would have continued to look. We feel we have the right person for the job. "She has been for the last seven or eight years with Port Hope Public Library Library so she has good familiarity with directing a library system, particularly one in our area of Ontario," she added.
