From the outset, coach Brad MacArthur wanted his team to make sure to collect the points against the weaker teams in the league, and not regret regret missing out on lost opportunities. So far so good, including a pair of weekend wins over Oakville and Huntsville. "We want to beat the teams we are supposed to and stay competitive with the teams that are up there with us," said MacArthur of the team's approach. "We don't want to look back at the end of the year and realize there were points we should have won that we didn't." didn't." The pair of weekend wins moves the Green Gaels (9-3) into a first place tie with Barrie (9-2) in the Mid East division, division, both with 18 points. Mimico (7-3) sits third, four points back. "There's a time and place to seek revenge revenge and the choices we made to do it was not the best of times," said MacArthur of his team's undisciplined play, particularly in the third period. Looking back at the first half of the season, MacArthur said there are a "few aspects I would like to improve on" but overall he has been pleased with the way- things have unfolded, in particular, only losing one game at home thus far.
