On Sept. 1, Dr. Donald Atkinson, currently of Moncton, N.B., will take over the top medical staff post at Lakeridge, Lakeridge, which runs hospitals in Oshawa, Whitby, Bowmanville, Port Perry and Uxbridge. He'll take over from Dr. Robin Davies, who announced his resignation from the position several months ago.
