The Red Devils went undefeated in round robin play in the May 16-18 tournament with three wins (7-5, 8-2, 5-2) and a tie (3- 3). Despite trailing 5-2 in the championship game with nine minutes remaining, remaining, the Red Devils came back to post an 8-5 win. Darlington U17 reach finals at Oshawa tourney OSHAWA - The Darlington Darlington Storm U17 girls' team, sponsored by Deighton Associates, strung together three consecutive consecutive wins to reach the finals of the Oshawa Kicks Early Bird Invitational. Darlington finished at the top of its pool by defeating defeating Whitby 3-1 and Oshawa Oshawa Kicks 1-0. The semifinals semifinals matched Darlington against London, with the Storm prevailing 1-0. The victory set up a championship game against the provincial team from Richmond Hill. The U 16 2002 Division I champions have moved up and are compéting in the highly competitive Premier Division.
