She had a litter of kittens which have all found new homes, now it is her turn to find a caring caring family. She is quiet and gentle, and she was an excellent mom. Cecilia is only one of the many wonderful cats currently looking for a home. Spring is the season for babÿ animals and fledgling birds. Please take the time to teach your children to leave them undisturbed. Baby bunnies are only nursed twice daily, so you won't necessarily see mom taking care of them. That does not mean they need human intervention! Fledgling birds are meant to be out of the nest while learning to fly. They can be quite close to adült size, but still not be able to fly well. Many people wrongly assume they are injured and catch them separating them from eager parents. Please do not interfere with nature, for your health and safety and for the best interest of the animal. Our pets that are currently looking for homes can be viewed at www.petfinder.com or www.petpostings.com (for a small fee). The Official Plan controls the rate of development in the West Main Central Area thereby encouraging the development development and redevelopment of lands along the King Street East corridor while ensuring that the historic downtown area remains vibrant. Over the years, this approach has proven to be successful. successful. However, a recent upsurge in interest in the redevelopment and intensification of properties along King Street East has raised concerns over potential traffic and land-use issues. To address these concerns, Municipal Council has (i) passed an Interim Control By-Law temporarily freezing development within the Bowmanville Main Central Area and (ii) authorized the initialization initialization of the Bowmanville King Street East Corridor Study. Generally, the study will: • Review the appropriateness of existing land use planning policies and zoning by-law; • Ensure that traffic volumes and traffic flow function safely and efficiently; • Comprehensively review the transportation network; • Assess the need for additional secondary roads; and • Identify appropriate urban design guidelines.
