Moving to the United States in 1947 she and her husband husband raised their family in Chicago, Detroit and most recently Fairlawn, N.J. Mrs. Barraclough Barraclough is a graduate of Bergen Pines School of Nursing in Paramus, N.J. and worked as a nurse until her retirement. She is survived by her son Victor Barraclough of Roxbury, N.Y., a daughter Lynn Barraclough of Ridgefield Park, N.J., and a son Roy Barraclough of Montvale, N.J. She is also survived by one brother Allen Anderson of Thomasburg, ON. Born October 3rd, 1919, in Beaverton, Ontario. Harry served in active duty in World War II, as a mechanical mechanical driver. He worked and raised his family in Scarborough until 1972, when he settled in Whitby, and resided there for the past 31 years. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Alberta and his children Terry Vivian (Marlene), Judy Gillespie and Deborah Edwards Edwards (Cliff), his eight grandchildren Kevin Vivian (Tammy), Darcy Vivian; Michelle, Mellissa and Patricia Gillespie; Christopher and Krystal Edwards, Jennifer MacDonald (joe) and one great grandchild Cody. He will also be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Ivy and her husband Tom Karas. Donna was predeceased by her parents Hazel (MacDonald) (MacDonald) and Osborne' Parkinson and sister Yvonne Levesque. Donna was born on November November 25th, 1928, in Winnipeg. She grew up in Roland, Manitoba, and Winnipeg, spending many winters as a child with her family in California. In 1945 she entered residence at United . College in Winnipeg, graduating in 1950.with a Bachelor of Alls degree. Donna was a commissioned officer in the Royal Canadian Canadian Navy (Reserve) from 1952 to 1956, when she married Gordon, serving as doctor with the Royal Canadian Navy. From 1956 to 1970 the Woodalls lived in Vancouver, Victoria, Victoria, Ottawa, Winnipeg, San Diego, Water- ville (Maine), Zweibrucken (W. Germany), and Halifax. In 1970 the Woodalls moved to Oshawa when Gordon retired from the Navy and went Into private practice. In Oshawa she was a homemaker, and worked for a time as an ophthalmic assistant in Gordon's office. Donna was active In the Oshawa Art Gallery Auxiliary, serving a term as its president. She was also active in the University Women's Club, and the Rotaryannes. Donna is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club. In 1985 Donna suffered a stroke that left her disabled. disabled. While she lost her ability to do many things without assistance, she never lost the qualities that defined her so well - her patience, self lessness, sense of humour, and grace.
