Scoring off the faceoff in the first eight seconds of the game was Ben Kalotai for Bob's Towing. Kalotai netted another quick goal in the same shift quickly bringing the score to. 2- 0. Shortly after, Zackary Roden scored two quick goals to bring the score to 4-0. However, Dr. Gilchrist responded with four minutes left on the clock with a goal from Justin Gaudet. With just oyer a minute left on the clock in the first period, Justin White netted another goal for Dr. Gilchrist bringing the score to 4-2. Near the middle of the second period, Dr. Gilchrist scored an additional two goals on shots by Tyler Coleman and Tyler ; Phalen.
