The Gaels were firing on all cylinders in the first period, pumping in four goals. Two goals each came from Brody Munro and Connor Keman. The success success of these goals came from accurate passing that started in the Gaels' zone from Cody Lecours and Keenan Cook. A penalty late in the first period allowed the Beaches to capitalize with their first goal. Keenan Cook had the only goal for the Gaels in the second period on a nice feed down the floor by Braden Gray. Carter Kolarek held the Beaches back by standing standing firm between the pipes allowing only two goals to cross the line. Right off the draw to start the third period, Cameron Breen connected with Jamie Bennett to give the Gaels a three- goal cushion, but the Beaches kept coming. coming.
