Durham's cancer centre is an example of an Integrated Cancer Program (ICP), which provides comprehensive cancer services to a defined regional population. This model brings radiation therapy, surgical surgical oncology, preventative oncology, palliative medicine and support services under one structure that is accountable to the hospital CEO.
